Sorry y'all, I initially wrote down my notes I had on the session when they were fresh and it got deleted.

(This is in Devins Personal Journal nobody knows he has)

POV: Dilly-dallying at the docks with Devin

We'd arrived to the new land and pleasantries seem be afoot among the crew from the children aboard knowing more about dragon chess than I care to admit. Alas where my strategy may be lacking, my aim anything but when it came to table darts. Thanks to my fathers tips about networking I am able to notion to some of the fellow personnel aboard that commerce was abound with a solid finger guns to boot.

Twas a eventful night with newfound acquaintances that seem ready to leap into action at moments notice. One even literally, we made haste to shore with an ominous. One of our party Zenitha made a leap that ended up sinking like a stone thrown overboard. Brunhild and I hoisted them up after taking a trip in the dip, after that they were able to make land and then the fun began.

The Undead, skin and bones that have come alive to act as our welcoming party and their attitude is much to be desired. We were able to take down a few lurkers after sending one to the bottom of to bay laughing with what I can only describe as a bone chilling chortle. Once they had been dispatched we had investigated the scene with my the hair on the back on my neck felt on end I readied my bow while the rest of the party pried at whatever bibs and bobs they could. Zenitha was able to get what looks like a magical street lamp to turn green, what almost feels like planting symbolic roots for our parties as we were unable to see past the fog of the wharf.

Greatings, dear readers, and welcome to my inagural editorial, "A Minstrel's Musings"!

It is my great pleasure to announce that we have made landfall on this new-to-us land. While I have thoroughly enjoyed the time we have spent together, let's be honest, we were all starting to smell a little rank. Let me assure you, though, that our decision to take part in the landing party was entirely driven by exceptional bravery, not an overwhelming desire to put more than five feet between us and our fellows.

We sailed into the harbor through the dense morning mist and soon encountered a pier piercing into the sea. So eager was Zenitha for a bath that she dove headlong toward the pier and into the brackish waters, chainmail and all. Devin quickly secured our dinghy with a well placed arrow and we prepared for our ascent.

Zenitha was the first to crest the pier and set foot on the new world. This apparently angered the local necromancers union as we were immediately accosted by dozens of zombies and skeletons. We jumped into action. Brunhildo hurled axes with reckless abandon, Zenitha rained down righteousness fueled blows, Grundyr flung bolts of fire hot enough to sear through bone, Devin fired arrows at impossible speed, and yours truly told a joke so funny (I'm not going to tell it again, 'you had to be there' and all that) that the captain zombie doubled over in laughter and fell back into the sea. Not only were we victorious, but we made it through entirely unscathed.

After the battle, we positioned the defeated skeletons with their butts facing inland as a warning to the necromancers and Zenitha somehow made the big orb green so everyone would know to go ahead and land.

If you want to catch a game of cards, or buy me a drink, I'll be at The Limping Biscuit", just ask for Lut. If I'm not around, I'm sure the barkeep will put any donations on my tab.

P.S. Did you all notice there didn't seem to be any fish or birds on the way in? I'm sure that's not going to be an issue when our foodstuffs start to run out.
